The Women in Governance (WING) program is a USAID-funded project implemented by Development and Training Services and Winrock International. In 2004 it doubled the number of Malian women elected to local offices.

WING wanted to share their success with partner organizations. They asked me to build a screen saver that would feature images of the 42 elected women, along with their names, communes, and quotes about women in governance. The screen saver will be distributed on on mini-CDs and available for download.

I thought it would achieve a pleasing effect if I incorporated the quotes into the images themselves, using coordinated colors. The client agreed and was so happy with the French version that they requested an English version as well.
