July 3, 2006: 3 photos published
Three of my photos have been recently published electronically. A cropped version of a photo I took in the National Gallery of Art was selected for the About.com artice "Looking at Paintings: Where Do You Stand?" The other two are in Schmap guides: a photo of Sacre Coeur was chosen for the guide to Paris, and a photo of a sculpture in Boboli Gardens and a photo of the Ponte Vecchio over the Arno were chosen for the guide to Florence. Schmap guides are downloadable electronic travel guides, mentioned in the Travel section of today's Washington Post.

August 19, 2005: CyberVolunteer
For my latest project, I am one of the first CyberVolunteers with the ICVolunteers program. I'm designing the graphic look and feel for the website La Coopération Décentralisée au Mali, in collaboration with the Service de Coopération et d'Action Culturelle de l'Ambassade de France au Mali (SCAC) and the Association des Municipalités du Mali (AMM). The site will be managed using SPIP (like the sites I've done for Geekcorps). I'm coding the design into HTML and CSS, another CyberVolunteer is doing the SPIP programming, and a staffer at AMM is developing the content.
